Employment Opportunities

Associate Veterinarian [Hastings, NE]

Companion’s Choice Animal Hospital is a growing four doctor small animal practice in central Nebraska, hoping to add another veterinarian to our team! This position is for a full time OR part time associate veterinarian. We offer flexible scheduling, tremendous work-life balance, and a positive working environment.

We are a full-service, paperless, small animal hospital that recently moved into a new, larger facility to accommodate our growth. Our clinic features a comprehensive in-house laboratory, digital radiography (including dental radiography), ultrasonography, anesthetic monitoring, Doppler blood pressure, Tonopen, and high-speed dental equipment.

As a clinic we strive to provide the highest quality medical care to the pets in our community. Our doctors are committed to excellence, and enjoy continuing to learn and grow. We take time for high-quality continuing education, to discuss cases with each other and with specialists, and to review best practices with one another. All of our doctors have provided and received tremendous learning through mentoring and are excited to learn with and mentor a new graduate or experienced veterinarian.

Our team includes tremendous and well-trained nursing staff. Our doctors are free to spend their time examining, diagnosing, prescribing, and performing surgery, and are well supported by technical team members who take radiographs, collect lab samples, call clients with lab results per a doctor’s instruction, place IV catheters, and more. It’s important to us that our staff enjoy their jobs, and we work hard to ensure that they are well-trained and happy. As a result, the atmosphere in the clinic is an upbeat and positive one. We enjoy coming to work!

We are grateful to serve a tremendous clientele. Our clients are responsive to our recommendations and share our desire to provide their pet with the highest medical care.

We offer a competitive, production-based pay with a base salary and no negative accrual. Additional benefits include NVMA and AVMA dues, DEA and state licensing dues, professional liability insurance, company-matched retirement contributions, health insurance stipend, employee discounts, paid continuing education time, and paid maternity leave. Your complete statement of benefits will be as close to 25% of your production as possible.

This is a tremendous opportunity to practice high quality medicine with a phenomenal team! (posted 9/17/2022)
