The Nebraska Department of Agriculture is seeking a Veterinary Field Officer to join their team. This position is responsible for full supervision over animal industry inspections, disease control, and other related activities in their area. Employee will assist the State Veterinarian and Deputy State Veterinarian in protection of Nebraska livestock health as provided for by the law through recommendations and through compliance with import and testing requirements. Employees receive limited supervision through regular oral and written communications from the State Veterinarian and Deputy State Veterinarian.

Ultrasounds are done in-clinic by a board certified radiologist. Spend your day dabbling in wellness care, surgery, dentistry, chemotherapy, medicine cases, behavior consults and orthopedic needs.
